It’s been a beautiful, clear start to the week in London. Cold as a shoulder still, but at least there’s some light in the sky.

Fat-free February

It’s a sad indictment of how much junk food I eat normally, but fat-free February has seen me drop 6kg in less than four weeks. It hasn’t been easy, mind – I crave sweeties and biscuits like the air I breathe!

Edinburgh

So many good things to say about Edinburgh – not enough space here. Photos to follow, but highlights definitely included Arthur’s Seat, a walk along the Water of Leith, and just generally enjoying the city and its incredible architecture and views.

Spent most of the weekend watching DVDs with my foot either in an ice bucket or elevated. Can highly recommend The Aviator and Million Dollar Baby. Sore foot has responded well to the attention – hoping to be back on the road shortly.

Sick of/in 2010

The end of this year, and the beginning of the next one, have snuck up on me a little. I expect the transition will be made all the more unspectacular by the cold I have picked up. Not impressed with all the sick people who bring their germs into work.
